Side Effects and Directions

The acne-fighting ingredients in the Cold Fusion Kit can cause skin irritation. Individuals with sensitive skin should consult with a dermatologist prior to use.  It is recommended that you conduct a patch test prior to use to minimize the chance of a negative reaction.

Use the Cold Fusion Kit three times daily: in the morning, afternoon, and evening.

In the morning, wet your face. Using a circular motion, massage the cleanser into your skin. Rinse with warm water. Next, apply two pumps of toner and massage into skin. Do not rinse off.

In the afternoon, apply two pumps of toner to your face and let dry. Once the toner is dry, apply two pumps of lotion.

In the evening, wet your face. Using a circular motion, massage the cleanser into your skin. Rinse with warm water. Apply an ice pack to your face for two minutes. Next, apply two pumps of lotion and massage into skin. Reapply the ice pack for two more minutes.

In-Depth Review

Vilantae has already made a name for itself with their capsule and powder acne treatments. Now, Vilantae has released their Cold Fusion Kit, which combines benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid and glycolic acid into one system. The Cold Fusion Kit is made up of three components: a cleanser, a toner, and a lotion.

Together, this system unclogs pores, soothes inflammation, and fights the bacteria which cause breakouts. When a person notices a clogged pore, they can apply the Cold Fusion treatments immediately to remove the dead skin and oils, preventing the breakout from occurring. Vilantae says that this treatment is more effective than spot treatments or preventative treatments, but they also recommend using this kit in conjunction with their powder or capsule acne treatment.

Vilantae has no clinical trials or in-depth research to prove whether the Cold Fusion Kit actually prevents breakouts. The only available information regarding research is a book written by a dermatologist; you have to purchase the book to read what the research entails.

Vilantae has not released a complete ingredient list, which may be a problem for some individuals who have allergies or sensitive skin. Since the Cold Fusion Kit uses three chemicals to clear up acne, people with sensitive skin may expect some irritation.
